Optional activity:

  • Golden monkeys trek: Today you can do the golden monkey trek in Volcanoes National Park before continuing to Bwindi. The golden monkeys are incredibly beautiful monkeys and they are found only in the Virunga mountains inhabiting bamboo forests in the base of the mountains. This is a light activity since the monkeys are in the lower zone and are easy to find with about 1 hour of trekking and you spend 1 hour with them.

Day 5 – gorilla tracking in Bwindi national park

You shall transfer to Bwindi forest for the gorilla trekking adventure. The park is aptly named “impenetrable” due to the thick forest that is hard to penetrable that the park guides have to create a path with machetes. If you love to trek in a beautiful lush jungle then Bwindi is the place.
