Uganda Wild Life Authority has announced this year’s Open Parks Days which is to take place from September 25 – 27, 2026.
Here is what you need to need to know about this special offer by the Uganda Wildlife Authority:
Open Parks Days is an initiative by Uganda Wildlife Authority where select parks and wildlife reserves are opened up for entry without charging any entry fees. This is the second time that Uganda Wildlife Authority has availed this opportunity since the first one in 2024
This is very important!
The open parks days is only available to Ugandan Citizens, and foreigners who are resident in Uganda.
All other visitors will need to pay the standard park fees.
Not all parks are included in this program. It is SELECT parks and wildlife reserves. However, those selected are the most popular and interesting parks for big game watching.

Queen Elizabeth National Park
Kidepo Valley National Park
Toro Semuliki Wildlife Reserve
Katonga Wildlife Reserve
